BSLWA 2026 Photo Contest
The Blue Sea Lake Watershed Association (BSLWA) is currently planning to produce and sell a 2027 Blue Sea Lake Calendar, later this fall, where 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the calendars will be used to fund the association’s various projects and activities. The 2027 Blue Sea Lake Calendar will be a celebration of the people, nature, wildlife, landscapes, and lakescapes that evoke feelings of joy, appreciation, and protectiveness in all of us. In addition to raising much needed funds for the BSLWA, our hope is that by showcasing the beauty that can be found in the simplest of images, our calendar will help to strengthen people’s connection, appreciation, and desire to protect our beloved Blue Sea Lake.
2026 Photo Contest
The BSLWA is inviting Blue Sea Lake area property owners, guests, and visitors to submit their photo(s) for a chance to be featured in the 2027 Blue Sea Lake Calendar.
Prizes for the Top 3 Photos
The Blue Sea Lake Watershed Association will announce the prizes for the photos that receive the top three number of public votes in our 2026 Photo Challenge, in our August newsletter.
PUBLIC VOTING
The winners will be determined by public voting via the BSLWA website (www.associationbluesea.org). Public voting opens on September 1, 2026, and closes on September 18, 2026, at 11:59pm EST. The public may cast a vote for more than one photo.
Rules (the basics)
1. All submissions must be made via the BSLWA website: www.associationbluesea.org
2. The contest opens on July 15, 2026. Submissions will be accepted beginning at 9:00 a.m. EST on July15, 2026.
3. The contest closes on August 28, 2026. No submissions will be accepted after 11:59 p.m. EST on August 28th, 2026.
4. Submitted photographs will be reviewed by the BSLWA, and a selection of the top photos will be presented on our webpage for public voting.
5. There is a limit of ten (10) submissions per single entrant.
6. Participation in the Photo Contest constitutes entrants’ full and unconditional agreement to abide by the Official Rules & Regulations and the Photo Contest Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the BSLWA 2026 Photo Contest.
All submissions must include the following:
– photographer’s fist name, last name, and contact information (email & cell phone)
– the photographer’s age group (Adult or Youth) and whether you are a property owner/family OR a Guest/Visitor
– the theme category into which you are submitting your photo
– a brief description of your photo (the story behind the shot)
– indicate that you have read & agree to the Official Rules & Regulations of the BSLWA 2026 Photo Contest
