Concours photo de l’ABVLBS 2026 Règlement officiel

GÉNÉRALITÉS
Le présent règlement fait autorité pour toutes les questions relatives au concours photo 2026 de l’Association du bassin versant du lac Blue Sea (ABVLBS) (ci-après dénommé « le concours photo »). En soumettant une ou plusieurs photos, les participants acceptent d’être liés par le présent règlement.

ORGANISATEUR
L’organisateur du concours photo (ci-après dénommé « l’organisateur du concours photo ») est l’Association du bassin versant du lac Blue Sea (ABVLBS).

ADMISSIBILITÉ
Pour être admissible au Concours photo 2026 de la ABVLBS ou pour remporter un prix, vous devez être propriétaire d’un bien immobilier situé dans la municipalité de Blue Sea ou dans la municipalité de Messines (QC), ou être un visiteur/invité parrainé par un propriétaire. Toutes les photographies présentées au Concours photo doivent avoir pour sujet le lac Blue Sea (c’est-à-dire avoir été prises sur le lac Blue Sea ou dans ses environs). La participation au concours de photographie implique l’acceptation pleine et inconditionnelle par les participants du présent règlement ainsi que des décisions de l’organisateur du concours, lesquelles sont définitives et exécutoires pour toutes les questions relatives au concours.

FORMAT DES PHOTOGRAPHIES À SOUMETTRE
Conditions de participation pour les fichiers numériques
La modification du contenu des fichiers numériques n’est pas autorisée ; le recadrage des photos est autorisé, tout comme les corrections de tonalité ou de couleur, y compris la conversion en noir et blanc. Les lauréats devront être en mesure de fournir une version haute résolution de chaque photo qu’ils auront soumise (format JPEG, PNG, en niveaux de gris ou en couleur (RVB) de qualité optimale). Les fichiers numériques doivent mesurer 3 600 pixels de large sur 2 700 pixels de haut (soit 12” x 9”) à 300 dpi. Pour les photographies sélectionnées comme lauréates, la version haute résolution de la photographie sera requise à des fins de reproduction. Les participants qui ne fourniront pas de version haute résolution dans le délai fixé par l’organisateur du concours photo (qui ne doit pas dépasser une semaine à compter de la notification du prix) perdront leur prix et un autre gagnant sera sélectionné par le jury. Dans ce cas, aucun prix de remplacement ne sera attribué.

Utilisation de l’intelligence artificielle (IA)
Notre concours photo célèbre le véritable savoir-faire photographique et la découverte de la nature. Afin de garantir l’équité et de maintenir des normes élevées, toutes les images soumises doivent être entièrement composées de photos que vous avez prises vous-même. Le montage ou la création à l’aide d’un système génératif d’IA n’est pas autorisé : chaque élément doit être réel et ne peut pas être généré par un système ou une fonctionnalité d’IA. Les photos soumises doivent être composées exclusivement d’éléments qui existaient réellement dans la scène au moment où le photographe a pris la photo originale.

Participations au concours photo
Toutes les participations doivent être soumises par voie électronique via la page dédiée au concours photo, sur le site web de la ABVLBS (www.associationbluesea.org), et toutes les informations demandées doivent être fournies pour que votre photo soit admissible.

PUBLICATION
En soumettant une photo au concours photo, le participant accorde par la présente à la ABVLBS le droit d’utiliser toutes les photos qu’il a soumises au concours. La ABVLBS disposera des droits d’utilisation numérique des images afin (a) d’enrichir l’édition imprimée ; (b) de promouvoir la ABVLBS ; et (c) de promouvoir la ABVLBS via Facebook, Instagram et d’autres réseaux sociaux. En soumettant une photo au Concours photo, le participant accorde également à la ABVLBS le droit et la licence non exclusifs et perpétuels de reproduire, publier et distribuer les photos, ainsi que d’autoriser leur reproduction, publication et distribution, sous forme imprimée et sous toutes les formes et sur tous les supports électroniques connus à ce jour ou développés ultérieurement, y compris, mais sans s’y limiter, sur Internet. La ABVLBS se réserve le droit non exclusif de publier toute participation et/ou d’utiliser toute participation dans des supports de la ABVLBS, pendant ou après le concours photo, sans verser de rémunération aux participants. Il incombe au participant de remplir les formulaires de renonciation et les autorisations de publication, et de les fournir, dans le cas où la photo serait sélectionnée pour figurer dans un support de la ABVLBS, actuellement ou à l’avenir.

AVIS DE DROITS D’AUTEUR
En soumettant une photographie au Concours photo, vous (le photographe) accordez (ou garantissez que le photographe accorde expressément) à l’Association du bassin versant du lac Blue Sea un droit et une licence mondiaux, libres de droits, irrévocables et non exclusifs d’utiliser, de copier, d’adapter, de transmettre, de communiquer, d’exposer et de présenter publiquement, de distribuer et de créer des compilations, des œuvres dérivées ou des produits dérivés à partir de toute photographie ainsi soumise. Vous déclarez et garantissez que vous disposez du droit d’accorder la licence décrite ci-dessus. Dans le cas où une photographie soumise par un participant éligible appartiendrait à un mineur, l’autorisation de présenter la photo au Concours photo, de la réimprimer, de la publier ou de la reproduire de toute autre manière, comme décrit ci-dessus, doit avoir été obtenue par écrit auprès du parent ou du tuteur de l’enfant, avant la soumission de la photographie au Concours photo. La preuve de cette autorisation doit être fournie immédiatement à l’organisateur du concours photo pour toutes les photos prises par une personne âgée de moins de 18 ans.

DATES LIMITES
Le Concours photo 2026 de la ABVLBS débute le 15 juillet 2026 à 9 h 00 (heure de l’Est) et se termine le 28 août 2026 à minuit (heure de l’Est). Toutes les photos candidates doivent être mises en ligne avant le 28 août 2026 à 23 h 59 (heure de l’Est).

VOTE DU PUBLIC
Les lauréats seront désignés par un vote du public. Toutes les photographies soumises au concours seront examinées par la ABVLBS et une sélection des meilleures photos (choisies par la ABVLBS) sera présentée sur le site web de la ABVLBS (www.associationbluesea.org) afin d’être soumise au vote du public. Le vote du public s'ouvre le 1er septembre 2026 et se termine le 18 septembre 2026 à 23 h 59 (heure de la côte Est des États-Unis). Tous les votes doivent être exprimés via le site web de la BSLWA (www.associationbluesea.org) avant cette date et cette heure. Le public peut voter pour plusieurs photos. Les résultats du vote en ligne seront examinés et validés par le conseil d'administration de la ABVLBS. Toutes les décisions du conseil d'administration de la ABVLBS sont sans appel.

PRIX
Les gagnants ne recevront aucune compensation, aucun crédit ni aucun prix autre que ceux mentionnés dans le présent règlement ou fournis à la seule discrétion de l’organisateur du concours photo. Les prix, le cas échéant, ne sont pas transférables ; aucune substitution de prix ni aucun équivalent ne sont autorisés, sauf décision contraire de l’organisateur du concours photo, à sa seule discrétion. Dans tous les cas, l’organisateur du concours photo se réserve le droit de remplacer n’importe quel prix du concours par un autre de valeur égale ou supérieure.

CONDITIONS RELATIVES AUX PRIX (TOUS LES PRIX)
Tous les prix doivent être acceptés tels qu’ils sont attribués et ne peuvent être cumulés avec aucune autre offre ou promotion, vendus, échangés contre de l’argent, combinés à une autre promotion ou échangés contre un autre prix. En acceptant un prix, le gagnant s’engage à dégager de toute responsabilité l’organisateur du concours photo, l’Association du bassin versant du lac Blue Sea, ainsi que leurs agences respectives, sociétés affiliées, sociétés mères, filiales, agents, agences de publicité et de promotion et toute autre personne impliquée dans le développement, la production ou la gestion du concours photo, ainsi que leurs administrateurs, dirigeants, employés et ayants droit respectifs, contre toute réclamation et toute responsabilité découlant de l’acceptation ou de l’utilisation d’un prix. Pour être déclaré gagnant, le participant sélectionné devra signer et renvoyer un formulaire de déclaration et de décharge confirmant son éligibilité et son respect du présent règlement du concours photo, dans lequel il consent à l’utilisation, sans autre rémunération, de son nom, de son adresse (ville uniquement) et de sa ou ses photos ou vidéos dans toute publicité liée au concours photo, et dégage de toute responsabilité la ABVLBS, le commanditaire du concours photo, ses agents, ses représentants et toute autre personne impliquée dans l’élaboration, la production ou la gestion du concours photo, ainsi que leurs administrateurs, dirigeants et ayants droit respectifs, de toute responsabilité découlant du concours photo ou de l’acceptation, de l’utilisation ou de l’obtention d’un prix, tel qu’attribué. La déclaration et la décharge doivent être renvoyées au commanditaire du concours photo dans les dix (10) jours suivant la notification du gain. Les participants qui ne respectent pas ou ne sont pas en mesure de respecter l’une des dispositions du présent règlement peuvent être disqualifiés et un ou plusieurs gagnants de remplacement seront sélectionnés.

LITIGES
En participant au Concours photo, chaque participant accepte d’être lié par le présent règlement du Concours photo. En cas de désaccord quant au statut d’une personne en tant que participant, gagnant potentiel ou gagnant, quant à l’éligibilité d’un participant, d’un gagnant potentiel ou d’un gagnant, ou quant à la pertinence d’un prix ou d’un prix de remplacement, la décision du conseil d’administration de l’Association du bassin versant du lac Blue Sea est définitive.

RESPONSABILITÉ
L'organisateur du concours photo ne saurait être tenu responsable de toute défaillance du site web survenant pendant la durée du concours. Il n’est pas non plus responsable des problèmes ou dysfonctionnements techniques des systèmes informatiques en ligne, des serveurs, des fournisseurs d’accès, du matériel informatique, des logiciels, ni de la perte de toute participation envoyée par e-mail, en ligne ou via Internet en raison de problèmes techniques ou d’encombrement du trafic sur Internet ou sur un site web quelconque, ou de toute combinaison de ces facteurs, y compris tout préjudice ou dommage causé à l’ordinateur ou aux biens d’un participant ou de toute autre personne, lié à ou résultant de l’utilisation ou du téléchargement de tout contenu dans le cadre de cette promotion.

BSLWA 2026 Photo Contest
Official Rules & Regulations

GENERAL
These Rules and Regulations are final on all matters relating to Blue Sea Lake Watershed Association (BSLWA)’s 2026 Photo Contest (the “Photo Contest”). By submitting one or more photos, entrants are agreeing to be bound by these Rules and Regulations.

SPONSOR
The sponsor of the photo contest (“photo contest sponsor”) is the Blue Sea Lake Watershed Association (BSLWA).

ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible to enter the BSLWA 2026 Photo Contest, or win a prize, you must be a Municipality of Blue Sea or Municipality of Messines (QC) property owner, or a property-owner-endorsed visitor/guest. All photographs entered in the Photo Contest must be of Blue Sea Lake content (i.e. taken on or around Blue Sea Lake). Participation in the Photo Contest constitutes entrants’ full and unconditional agreement to abide by these Photo Contest rules and regulations and the Photo Contest Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Photo Contest.

FORMAT OF PHOTOGRAPHS FOR SUBMISSION
Digital Eligibility
Content alteration of digital files is not acceptable; cropping of photos is permitted, tonal or colour corrections are acceptable, including black and white conversion. Winning entrants must be able to provide a high-resolution version of each photo that they submit (maximum quality JPEG, PNG, Grayscale or Colour (RGB)). Digital files should be 3600 pixels wide by 2700 pixels tall (or 12” x 9”) at 300 dpi. For photographs that are selected as winning entries, the high-resolution version of the photograph will be required for reproduction. Entrants who fail to provide a high-resolution version within the time period set by the Photo Contest Sponsor (not to exceed one week following prize notification) will forfeit their prize and an alternate winner will be selected by the judging panel. In such a case, no substitute prizes will be awarded.

Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Our Photo Contest celebrates real photographic skill and getting out into nature. To keep things fair and maintain high standards, all submitted images must be made entirely from photos you’ve taken yourself. AI–generative system editing or creation is not permitted – every element must be real and cannot be generated by an AI system or feature. Photo content submissions must consist solely of components that actually existed in the scene when the photographer took the original photograph.

Photo Contest Entries
All entries must be submitted electronically through the Photo Contest webpage, on the BSLWA website (www.associationbluesea.org) and all requested information must be provided in order for your photo to be eligible.

PUBLICATION
By submitting a photo to the Photo Contest, the entrant hereby grants BSLWA the right to use all the photos that they submitted to the Photo Contest. The BSLWA will have rights to use images digitally to (a) further expand on the print edition; (b) promote the BSLWA; and (c) promote BSLWA via Facebook, Instagram, and other social media outlets. By submitting a photo to the Photo Contest, the entrant also hereby grants to BSLWA the non-exclusive, perpetual right and license to reproduce, publish and distribute, and to authorize the reproduction, publication and distribution of the photos, in print and in all electronic forms and media now known or later developed, including, but not limited to, over the Internet. The BSLWA reserves the non-exclusive right to publish any entry and/or use any entry in BSLWA material, during or after the Photo Contest, without compensating to the entrants. Completion of Waiver Forms and Model Releases are the responsibility of the entrant and must be provided by the entrant, in the event the photo is selected for inclusion in a BSLWA, now or in the future.

COPYRIGHT NOTICE
By uploading any photograph to the Photo Contest, you (the photographer) grant (or warrant that the photographer expressly grants) the Blue Sea Lake Watershed Association a world-wide, royalty-free, irrevocable and non-exclusive right and license to use, copy, adapt, transmit, communicate, publicly display and perform, distribute and create compilations and derivative works or merchandise from any such submitted photograph. You represent and warrant that you have the right to grant the license set out above. In the event that a photograph submitted by an eligible entrant belongs to a minor, permission to enter the photo in the Photo Contest, reprint, publish, or otherwise reproduce the images, as described above, must have been obtained, in writing, from the child’s parent or guardian, prior to entry of the photograph in the Photo Contest. Proof of such permission must be provided to the Photo Contest Sponsor immediately, for all photos taken by someone under the age of 18.

DEADLINES
The 2026 BSLWA Photo Contest opens 9:00 a.m. EST July 15, 2026, and closes at 12:00 midnight EST on August 28, 2026. All photographic entries must be uploaded by 11:59 p.m. EST on August 28, 2026.

PUBLIC VOTING
The winners will be determined by public voting. All photographs submitted to the Photo Contest will be reviewed by the BSLWA and a selection of the top photos (chosen by the BSLWA) will be presented on the BSLWA website (www.associationbluesea.org) for public voting. Public voting opens on September 1, 2026, and closes on September 18, 2026, at 11:59pm EST. All votes must be placed via the BSLWA website (www.associationbluesea.org), by that date and time. The public may cast a vote for more than one photo. The online voting results will be reviewed and confirmed by the BSLWA Board of Directors. All decisions of the BSLWA Board are final.

PRIZES
Winners will receive no compensation, credit or prizing other than as disclosed in these rules or otherwise provided at the sole discretion of the Photo Contest Sponsor. Prizes, if any, are not transferable; no prize substitutions or equivalents are permitted, except by the Photo Contest Sponsor, at its sole discretion. In all cases, the Photo Contest Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value for any of the Photo Contest prizes.

PRIZE CONDITIONS (ALL PRIZES)
All prizes must be accepted as awarded and may not be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion, sold, redeemed for cash, combined with any other promotion or exchanged for a different prize. By accepting a prize, the prize winner agrees to hold the Photo Contest Sponsor, the Blue Sea Lake Watershed Association, and their respective agencies, affiliates, parent(s), subsidiaries, agents, advertising and promotion agencies and anyone else involved in the development, production or handling of the Photo Contest and their respective directors, officers, employees and assigns, harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of acceptance or use of a prize. In order to be declared a winner, the selected entrant must sign and return a declaration and release form confirming eligibility and compliance with these Photo Contest Rules and Regulations, consenting to the use, without further compensation, of winner’s name, address (city only) and photograph(s) or video(s) in any Photo Contest-related publicity and releasing the BSLWA, the Photo Contest Sponsor, their agents, representatives, and anyone else involved in the development, production or handling of the Photo Contest and their respective directors, officers, and assigns from all liability arising in connection with the Photo Contest or the acceptance, use or redemption of a prize, as awarded. The declaration and release must be returned to the Photo Contest Sponsor within ten (10) days after being notified that they won. Entrants who fail or are unable to meet any of these Rules and Regulations may be disqualified and alternate winner(s) will be selected.

DISPUTES
By participating in the Photo Contest, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Photo Contest Rules and Regulations. In the event of any disagreement as to whether a person is an entrant, a potential winner or a winner, or as to the qualification of any entrant, potential winner or winner, or the adequacy of any prize or any substitute prize, the decision of the Blue Sea Lake Watershed Association’s Board of Directors is final.

RESPONSIBILITY
The Photo Contest Sponsor is not responsible for any failure of the website during this Photo Contest. Nor is it responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of computer online systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software or any e-mail, online or internet entry lost due to technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer or property related to or resulting from playing or downloading any material in the promotion.
